If you’re a local business owner or have family and friends who run a local business, it’s time to register for the Dine and Discover voucher scheme.

The NSW Government is fast-tracking the vouchers to the Northern Beaches later this month and we’re encouraging eligible businesses to get ready for the roll out.

The scheme offers residents aged 18 and over four $25 vouchers, worth $100 in total. Two vouchers can be used for entertainment and recreation, and two can be used at hospitality venues. The vouchers will help the community get out and stimulate the local economy.

Residents can use their vouchers to dine at businesses from Monday to Thursday, and spend on activities at arts, entertainment and tourism businesses, seven days a week (excluding public holidays).

To be eligible businesses need to be registered as COVID safe and in one of the following industries:

Cafés and restaurants  Pubs, taverns, wineries, bars and clubs Scenic and sightseeing transport Cinemas Museums, galleries and historic sites Zoos, botanic gardens, wildlife parks and nature reservesPerforming arts operations, theatres and entertainment centres Amusement, theme and water parks Recreational activities such as go-karting, indoor climbing, mini-golf, billiards, bowling or ice-rinksOutdoor adventuresTravel agencies and tours.

You can also find which businesses have registered for Dine and Discover via Service NSW’s website.

To make sure our local businesses are supported, we’ll also be urging all residents to enjoy their vouchers on the Northern Beaches.
