Crowds back for Freo's clash with Gold Coast
City of Fremantle 17 Feb 2021

A crowd of up to 8000 people will be allowed in to see the undefeated Fremantle Dockers take on the Gold Coast Suns in their AFL Women’s clash at Fremantle Oval on Saturday.

The stands were empty for Fremantle’s previous home game against the West Coast Eagles two weeks ago due to Perth’s COVID-19 lockdown.

The Dockers confirmed their premiership favouritism with a thumping 30-point win over the Adelaide Crows in Adelaide last weekend.

The victory extended their winning streak to 10 games, with their last defeat coming all the way back in March 2019 in a preliminary final against Carlton.

Bouncedown for Saturday’s game against the Suns is 2:10pm, with gates opening at 1:10pm.

The popular Visit Fremantle Chillout Deck will be open again, with food and beverages available for purchase and free icy poles for the kids.

The Fremantle Library will be open from 9am-12pm.

The car park inside Fremantle Oval, car park 16 on Parry Street and the Cappuccino Strip car park on South Terrace will be closed to the general public.

All AFLW games are ticketed in 2021 to allow crowds to attend in a COVID-safe environment.

Tickets are $10 for adults and are available from Ticketmaster from 1pm today. Children are free but must redeem a ticket to enter. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the gate.

Fremantle Dockers AFLW members will not need to pay the $10 to enter games, but will still need to register prior to the game to receive their complimentary ticket.
