An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Plant Operator to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Clermont. Reporting to the Team Leader-Infrastructure this position provides assistance with coordination, integration and delivery of services and the construction, maintenance and operational delivery of vehicles, plant and equipment across Isaac Regional Council.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 12 months experience in similar role Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics and general maintenance Ability and willingness to undertake labouring duties when required Minimum requirement of MR Licence (HR, HC or MC licence highly regarded) Relevant certification for the operation of vehicle, plant and equipment specific to the role e.g. Loader, Roller, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Excavator, Tractor/Slasher, Grader (any other plant/machinery/equipment certification highly regarded) Construction White Card Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment Level Two Traffic Management / Traffic Controller Ticket (highly regarded)BENEFITS
Salary $52,672.99 - $53,758.61 per annum + allowances, including: Locality allowance (Between $48.25 - $96.50 per fortnight) Construction workers allowance ($63 per 76-hour fortnight) Camp allowance ($55 per day in accordance with our current Certified Agreement) Nominally 38 hours per week (3 x 10-hour days and 1 x 8-hour day, Monday - Thursday) 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading 12% super in accordance with Council policy RDO’s in accordance with Council policyOUR COMMITMENT TO A DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE WORKPLACE
