The Rotary Club of Mount Isa is offering financial assistance to local sporting groups. On a Facebook post, the Rotary Club of Mount Isa said COVID-19 made 2020 a disastrous year for our local sporting and community organisations in terms of participation and fundraising and in 2021 we are all still feeling the after effects. The Club said they would like to help sporting and community organisations fill the gap left by being unable to fundraise. They said this was not just for Mount Isa but all of the North West Region from Mornington Island to Julia Creek and everything in between including Boulia and Dajarra. Send them a message on Facebook or email [email protected] for your application form. Submissions close on March 7, 2021.
