Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979

Council has received an Application for a Change of Use - coffee shop and nursery over LOT: 1 DP: 982040 & LOT: Y DP: 375918 49 Main Street GRENFELL NSW 2810.

Inspection:

The application DA 10/2021 for Change of Use - coffee shop and nursery may be viewed between the hours of 9:00am - 4:00pm from 8 February 2021 to 3 March 2021 at Council’s Administration Office, Camp Street, Grenfell.

Submissions:

Any person may make a submission in writing to the Consent Authority within the advertised period. Submissions objecting to the development are required to specify the grounds for objection.

Written submissions are to be received at Council by 4:00pm Wednesday, 3 March 2021.

The application DA 11/2021 for Change of Use & Community Garden may be viewed between the hours of 9:00am - 4:00pm from 12 February 2021 to 3 March 2021 at Council’s Administration Office, Camp Street, Grenfell.

Submissions:

Any person may make a submission in writing to the Consent Authority within the advertised period. Submissions objecting to the development are required to specify the grounds for objection.

POSITIONS VACANT

Council is currently inviting applications for the following positions: -

General Labourer – Civil Works (permanent full-time) General Labourer – Parks & Gardens (temporary up to 12 months – maternity leave replacement) General Labourer – Parks & Gardens (temporary up to 6 months) Trainee Biosecurity Officer (limited duration appointment up to 2 years)

ROAD WORKS – HEATHCOTES LANE

Residents are hereby advised that Council will be carrying out culvert replacement works on Heathcotes Lane from Friday 26 February 2021 until mid-May 2021, weather permitting.

These works will be conducted under a full road closure at the culvert site for the entire duration of the project. Working hours will be between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

All motorists and nearby residents to the culvert site on Heathcotes Lane will be detoured accordingly.

Some noise and dust disturbance is expected due to the use of various plant and equipment onsite, however any impact to residents will be minimised where possible.
