Fire at Sandringham Leisure Centre

Bayside City Council 24 Feb 2021

This morning at approximately 8am, there was a small fire in the sauna at Sandringham Leisure centre located on Tulip Street, Cheltenham.

There were no injuries and the centre was evacuated safely and quickly.

Work to assess damages is now underway and Sandringham Leisure Centre will be closed for the rest of the day.

We will share details from the various businesses and programs operating from the centre regarding reopening as information becomes available.
