In the lead up to Youth Week, grants are now available to support organisations planning activities or events to be held during 16 - 24 April.
The Youth Week Community Grants provide up to $500 for not-for-profit youth services and organisations to support programs that provide opportunities for young people to share views and ideas, provide entertainment or teach young people new skills.
“Youth Week is a great opportunity for local community groups to engage with young people and expand on your existing programs with some fun new ideas,” Mayor George Brticevic said.
“Whether you’ve got a big idea or a smaller event, these grants can help you get it off the ground,” Cr Brticevic said.
“There’ll be lots to get excited about as part of our own Youth Week program so keep an eye out for the latest details coming soon,” he said.
Applications close on Monday 15 March.
