The Australian Cricketers’ Association (ACA) has announced its new CEO Todd Greenberg will be attending the upcoming Masters Tour kicking off on Thursday night.

Greenberg is a well – known name in the sporting community, and prior to his appointment this year as ACA’s CEO, he was head of the NRL for four years.

Greenberg will be joined by Cricket Australia’s CEO Nick Hockley, adding to the star-studded list of people taking part in this year’s tour.

Armidale Regional Council General Manager James Roncon said it’s a win for the whole region.

“The fact that these two highly respected CEO’s will be coming to Armidale shows how significant this event is,” he said.

“This Masters Tour will be remembered by local players and fans for years to come, and will provide a rare opportunity for our local cricket community.”

The tour will officially begin on Thursday night, with the free Sporties Night meet and greet at the Armidale Golf Club kicking off at 6pm, where Mel Jones will host two discussion panels with the Masters. Tickets are still available, and can be reserved here. 

The tour will wrap up with a huge T20 match on Friday night, where the Masters will play off against a team from the Armidale District Cricket Association. Entry will be a gold coin fee and the match will begin at 6pm.

In addition to this, the Masters will be hosting school coaching clinics and a casual golf morning on Friday.
