Look out for a special invitation from the Mayor
Bayside City Council 25 Feb 2021

Next week, 10,000 randomly selected households will receive a special invitation from the Mayor, Cr Laurence Evans OAM, to help decide Council’s priorities for the next four years.

If you received an invite, you can nominate to be one of 40 people to represent the wider community on a Panel to examine our priorities for the next four years and provide feedback as to whether the draft Council Plan is on track to deliver on the long-term aspirations set out in the Bayside 2050 Community Vision.

In 2020, through an extensive engagement process, the community told us their long-term vision for Bayside in 2050. In response to this, Council has drafted is 4-year Council Plan and is updating the 10-year Financial Plan and wants to ensure the priorities reflect the community’s aspirations.

We encourage you to register to participate on this Panel because your views are important to us and we want you to be involved. We want to hear from lots of different voices so please consider who is the best person in your household to represent your personal or community interests.

The sessions will be held online, over five evenings in April – June and you will be paid for your time.

If you don’t receive an invitation or are not eligible to apply, don’t despair! Everyone can provide feedback via Council’s Have Your Say platform. Stay tuned for more details.
