The Wodonga Tennis Centre will host Tennis Victoria’s Pat Cash Cup this weekend with the state’s young tennis stars ready to hit the grass courts in Victoria’s North East.
The Pat Cash Cup is one of Tennis Victoria’s nine Regional Team Events played each calendar year.
The round robin tournament, which is open to Tennis Victoria’s country and metropolitan players, will see 176 players participating across 11 regions and associations around Victoria.
The players compete in girls and boys events across four age groups – 12/u , 14/u, 16/u and 18/u.
Each round will consist of four singles matches and two mixed doubles matches for each age group.
Following round robin play on Saturday, the Pat Cash Cup culminates on Sunday when all finals will be played.
Tennis Victoria’s Acting CEO, Adam Crameri, is excited for the opportunity that the Pat Cash Cup brings to young tennis players around Victoria.
“We wish everyone involved in the Pat Cash Cup all the very best for this weekend. This is a prestigious Tennis event with a proud history.”
“Special thanks go to the Wodonga Tennis Centre and their volunteers for hosting the 2021 Pat Cash Cup.”
