Interruption to Service – Water Supply Lithgow

Council advises that the works undertaken on the water supply system in Lithgow have now been complete.

Residents of Lithgow and Marrangaroo who have been effected by these works will now start to receive water. It will take some time for full service flow and pressure to be restored as the system is recharged.

Upon return of water, residents may experience dirty water for a period. Council will endeavor to minimise this by flushing the mains. Before using the water for domestic purposes, residents are advised to run the first tap that services their property to ensure the water is clean and any dirt released into the system has been flushed before running internal taps.
