Galah Bar morphs again
City of Wodonga 2 Mar 2021

In the middle of audience restrictions, lockdowns and other things that would impact the usually packed-together fun that is Galah Bar, Merv the Galah has re-invented himself for these COVID-safe times.

Giving a mix of local performers, music, circus and more a platform and an audience has always been at the heart of Galah Bar.  This new version, GALAH BAR TV maintains that tradition.

Taking the format of an TV variety show, hosted by 2AY’s Breakfast co-host Kylie King, GALAH BAR TV mixes performances with interviews with three high-profile locals: Vet turned pollie Justin Clancy MP; DAKAR rally participant Andrew Houlihan; and former AFP journo turned Doctor, Amy Coopes.

Filmed in front of a live audience at Albury LibraryMuseum, this one-hour celebration of local stories and talent will be streamed and broadcast as part of the 2021 UPSTREAM FESTIVAL.

Audiences can join the Watch Party when GALAH BAR TV is broadcast onto the big screen at the Cube Courtyard, with live entertainment from Julian James beforehand for only $10 for a ticket or $40 for a table of five.

Acts performing as part of GALAH BAR TV are the following.
