Do not park under trees

Motorists are reminded not to park under trees at this time due to the increased risks from falling trees and branches.

While Tropical Cyclone Niran is forecast to adopt a track away from the Queensland coast, gale force winds (similar strength to a category 1 system) with gusts in excess of 100km/h could be experienced today or tomorrow morning, depending on the path the system takes.
