Guide Falls walking track

Guide Falls felt the full brunt of yesterday's windy conditions with a large tree coming down across the walking track late yesterday afternoon.

The tree took out a section of the hand rail undermining the walking track.

Council workers spent today clearing the tree and will start repairs on the hand rail next week.

For safety reasons, Council has closed the section of the walking track which takes you to the BBQ shelter, the falls are still accessible from the top parking area and you can still walk down the steps and access the bottom of the falls.
