Since the Dementia-Friendly Central Coast Action Plan was developed in 2018, key actions have been implemented including the Connect Café and Dementia-Friendly Inclusion training sessions for businesses and community groups. Dementia Friendly Wayfinding/Directional Signage was also identified as a key action in the Dementia-Friendly Action Plan.

The Action Plan is a whole-of-community approach to make Central Coast more dementia-friendly. Becoming dementia-friendly means that the Council can provide better services to existing customers, as well as better meeting the needs of people with dementia. New signage has been designed for Ulverstone that could bring about long-term, positive outcomes and benefits for older Central Coast residents, people living with dementia and also for visitors to our area.

If you would like to provide input into the proposed Dementia-Friendly Wayfinding Signage in Ulverstone, please complete the survey below.

If, based on the information provided in the survey question, you are unsure of where the new sign will be placed/installed, please answer “Unsure”.

The survey closes at 5pm on Tuesday 6 April 2021.
