Isaac Regional Council advises Moranbah residents that the Greg Cruickshank Aquatic Centre will be closed for the next 24 hours due to a health and safety issue.
It has been closed for urgent super chlorination following an incident last night involving a temporary contamination.
Once the chlorine level returns to the acceptable standard, Council will inform the Moranbah community of the pool’s re-opening.
Council expects the pool to resume operating hours on Thursday, 11 March 2021 from 6am.
