Temporary delay and road closures - Wee Jasper Road

Filming for the Seven Network television series "Home and Away" on Wee Jasper Road, Boambolo, just to the north of the Taemas Bridge, will be occurring this coming Saturday, 13 March through to Friday, 19 of March 2021. 

On these days, there will be intermittent stop/slow traffic control in operation from 7am to 6pm each day. 

Three traffic VMS boards have been installed at locations at either end of the affected area and another in Tumut to forewarn road users.

The roadworks and relevant delays will be as follows:

Saturday, 13 March – 7am to 6pm – intermittent stop/slow traffic control – delays of 5 to 10 minutes.  Sunday, 14 March – 7am to 6pm – intermittent stop/slow traffic control – delays of 5 to 10 minutes.  Monday, 15 March – 7am to 8:30am – intermittent stop/slow traffic control – delays of 5 to 10 minutes. – 8:30am to 4pm – Road Closure – delays of up to 2 hrs. With the exception of emergency vehicles.– 4pm to 6pm – intermittent stop/slow traffic control – delays of 5 to 10 minutes.  Tuesday, 16 March – 7:00am to 8:30am – intermittent stop/slow traffic control – delays of 5 to 10 minutes. – 8:30am to 4pm – Road Closure – delays of up to 2 hrs. With the exception of emergency vehicles.– 4pm to 6pm – intermittent stop/slow traffic control – delays of 5 to 10 minutes. Wednesday, 17 March – 7am to 6pm – intermittent stop/slow traffic control – delays of 5 to 10 minutes. Thursday, 18 March – 7am to 6pm – intermittent stop/slow traffic control – delays of 5 to 10 minutes.  Friday, 19 March – 7am to 6pm – intermittent stop/slow traffic control – delays of 5 to 10 minutes. 

In the case of an emergency during the closure times of 8:30am to 4pm on Monday and Tuesday, residents will be able to pass through the road closures. 

The Seven Network would like caution anyone coming to the location in the hope of watching the filming, as it will not be possible, and they will be turned away.
