Council has been inundated with requests for clearing damaged vegetation from council land as a result of Tropical Cyclone Niran.
Over 580 customer requests for vegetation removal have been received in the past week.
Residents are remined that Council is not offering a kerbside pickup of green waste for vegetation from private properties.
Council’s free green waste disposal period has been extended until Sunday (14 March).
Residential green waste can be dropped off free of charge at Council’s waste transfer stations.
