International Women's Day: Human Library

Victoria University is celebrating International Women’s Day 2021 with a special 'Human Library' event. Human libraries offer people the opportunity to meet other people that they don’t normally meet and community members can then "read" a person, instead of a book, by sitting and talking with them.

International Women's Day (IWD) is a global day on 8 March 2021 celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This year, the theme is “Choose to Challenge” – with communities invited to celebrate women’s achievement, raise awareness against bias and take action for equality.

All genders are welcome at this free community event.
