Mareeba Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with good IT skills and technical aptitude to undertake a traineeship in Water Industry Operations. The successful applicant will assist experienced team members with the day to day operational activities at Council Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants while undertaking accredited training in Certificate III Water Industry Operations. The estimated timeframe for completion of the traineeship is 24 months.
This position attracts funding under the First Start Program and the successful candidate will need to meet the required funding criteria to be considered for this position. Targeted groups for this funding include:
