Temporary Road Closures, GCAC Swimming Centre

Isaac Regional Council wishes to advise residents that the following temporary road closures will occur on Friday, 19 March 2021:
8am – 8:45am; and again from 2pm – 3pm
The intersection of Belyando Avenue and Town Square Avenue; The intersection of Parella Street and Batchelor Parade (near the swimming pool); Batchelor Parade will be closed to vehicles entering from Griffin Street near the intersection of Town Square AvenueSupported by Queensland Police Service (QPS), the temporary road closures will allow for safe drop-off and collection of school children attending the Moranbah East State School swimming carnival at the Greg Cruickshank Aquatic Centre (GCAC), Moranbah.
Designated drop of zones for the children have been allocated directly outside of the GCAC and the angle carparking zone directly outside of the Council offices on Town Square Avenue.
Motorists are advised that traffic barriers will be in place and reduced speed limits will apply.
Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their cooperation.
