Cairns Regional Council advises that Lake Morris Road has reopened to traffic, however access to Copperlode Dam remains closed.
The road has been closed since 1 March to allow Council to clear debris as a result of winds and rain associated with ex-Tropical Cyclone Niran.
Lake Morris is open to vehicles from 8am to 6pm, seven days a week.
Council appreciates the patience and cooperation of motorists and other road users.
