Isaac Regional Council (IRC) is seeking an energetic and forward-thinking Finance Officer to join our Rates and Accounts team, based at any of our offices within the Isaac Region. The Financial Services Department ensures an integrated approach to internal organisational services across the organisation, responsible for budget and statutory reporting, payroll, insurance and accounting functions incorporating all operations of Council.
Reporting to the Manager Rates & Accounts, this position is primarily responsible for supporting the accounting and finance functions through timely completion of various tasks including processing transactions, reconciliations, reports and undertaking project work as directed. The areas of primary focus will include rates, accounts payable, receivable and payroll.
For this position we offer:
Base Salary between $66,856.61 – $71,348.54 Nominally 36.25 hours per week 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading 12% super (in accordance with policy) Fortnightly RDO’s in accordance with Council’s policyAbout you: We are seeking a motivated Finance Officer who possesses:
