Northern Roads Package Stages 2 and 3

The Australian and Tasmanian Governments have committed funding to upgrade the Batman Highway and Birralee and Frankford Roads through the Northern Roads package of works. These works will deliver road users with a safe and efficient road. The works will also help to meet current and future heavy vehicle needs on these key, inter-regional freight linkages.

We invite interested members from communities surrounding Batman Highway, Birralee Road and Frankford Road to come along to an informal public display session.

At this session you’ll meet with members of the project design team, learn about what’s currently planned for the road upgrades, have the chance to provide your feedback, and register to keep informed of the project’s progress.

This session will be held at: Where: Sidmouth Community Hall, 252 Batman Highway, Sidmouth When: Wednesday, 31 March 2021 Time: 12 noon to 6.30 pm

Following this session: If you’re unable to attend the information session, the project information will be on display at two local council locations.

West Tamar Council, Riverside Office from Monday, 29 March 2021 until Friday, 30 April 2021. The Council Office Riverside is located at 2-4 Eden Street, Riverside. Their opening hours are 8.30 am to 4.45 pm.

Meander Valley Council, Westbury Office from Monday, 29 March 2021 until Friday, 30 April 2021. The Council Office is located at 26 Lyall Street, Westbury. Their opening hours are 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
