Transport for NSW UPDATE
Jenolan Caves Road
Following recent extreme weather conditions in the area, there has been significant impacts to Jenolan Caves Road at the Two Mile and the Five Mile and Hampton Slope, as well as multiple slope failures in each location.
Recent assessments have confirmed early reports of significant damage to roads in these areas. A team of geotechnical engineers and road specialists are continuing to assess each location to
understand the extent of the damage, including how long it will take to repair. The investigation process is complex however this is being given the highest priority. We understand the impacts of these closures and are committed to keeping you informed.
Jenolan Caves Road is currently closed between Old Bindo Road and Duckmaloi Road as well as between Binoomea Ridge Trail and the Bicentennial National Trail.
We understand this is a time of uncertainty and have a team available to speak with you if you have any questions regarding road closures and how they affect you. Please phone or email our project team via the details below.
