Campbelltown kids and young people can get out and about during the school holidays at one of several activities hosted by Council.
Council’s libraries, leisure centres, Natural Areas team and the Campbelltown Arts Centre all have a bundle of activities planned.
“Whether your kid enjoys arts and crafts, discovering nature or improving their swimming skills; there’s something for everyone during the April school holidays,” Mayor George Brticevic said.
“Places are limited at some activities so get in now and book your place,” Cr Brticevic said.
Enrolments are open now for Campbelltown Active’s Intensive Learn to Swim program which is run on consecutive weekdays throughout the school holidays in 30 minute sessions.
There’ll be plenty of fun to be found at pool inflatable days held one day each week at all Council leisure centres.
Children and youth age groups can enjoy a range of arts and crafts at local libraries with workshops including Design Your Own Kite, Paint by Numbers and Colourful Weather Craft.
Campbelltown Arts Centre’s Art Holiday program includes creative workshops and activities for all ages including introductory classes for young people interested in learning ceramics as well as guided tours of the centre’s collection as well as the stunning Sculpture and Japanese Gardens.
The Campbelltown Bicycle Education Centre will be hosting open days each day of the holidays. Kids can bring their own bikes and practice their riding skills in a safe environment while their parents use one of the facility’s barbeques and watch on.
