Council services and facilities opening hours - Easter public holidays For the Easter long weekend (beginning Friday 2 April 2021 to Monday 5 April 2021), the following changes to services and facilities should be noted:  Unless otherwise set out below, Council’s services and facilities will operate as usual. CUSTOMER SERVICE Council’s face-to-face Customer Service Centre in the Max Centre will be closed from 5pm Thursday 1 April 2021, reopening at 9am on Tuesday 6 April 2021. During the public holiday period, community members can continue to contact Council 24 hours a day on (02) 6757 3222 for our after hours’ telephone service. WASTE SERVICES Kerbside Garbage, Recycling and Organics Collection Residents are advised that kerbside garbage, recycling and organics collections will operate as usual on Friday 2 April 2021 and Monday 5 April 2021. However, be sure to put your bins out the evening prior to collection as the collections will be taking place earlier than usual. Village Landfills and Moree Waste Management Facility Village landfills are open 7am to 5pm from Friday 2 to Monday 5 April. The Moree Waste Management Facility will operate as detailed below: (Please note, this reflects the new hours following last week’s flood event.) COMMUNITY SERVICES Gwydir Day Care and Preschool Gwydir Day Care and Preschool will be closed on Friday 2 April 2021 and Monday 5 April 2021. Tourism Moree Tourism Moree visitor centre will be closed on Good Friday (2 April 2021) and open 9am-1pm on each of Saturday 3 April, Sunday 4 April and Monday 5 April. Ranger Services Please contact our after hours’ service on (02) 6757 3222 to access Ranger Services or the Moree Pound from Friday 2 April 2021 until Monday 5 April 2021. Moree Regional Airport Moree Regional Airport will operate as usual. Bank Art Museum Moree (BAMM) The Bank Art Museum Moree is closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. BAMM will be open on Saturday 3 April and Monday 5 April from 10am to 1pm. Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre The Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre is open each day throughout the Easter holiday period. Library Services and Dhiiyaan Aboriginal Centre The Moree Community Library and Dhiiyaan Aboriginal Centre will be closed from Friday 2 April 2021 and reopen on Tuesday 6 April 2021.
