Friday, May 7 – Sunday, May 16, 2021 Discover a stunning open-air art exhibition in the heart of Brisbane City at Botanica – Contemporary Art Outside. Across ten nights in May leading contemporary Australian artists and designers will transform Brisbane’s premier city gardens with large-scale projections, surprising installations and interactive artworks. Linger longer on Friday and Saturday nights to discover a range of unique experiences for all ages. Enjoy guided twilight walks, thought-provoking talks, children’s art trails, delicious food trucks, an outdoor bar and live music. Venue: City Botanic Gardens, Brisbane City Venue address: City Botanic Gardens, 147 Alice Street, Brisbane City Waterway access facilities: River hub (commercial) - 200 tonnes Waterway access information: The City Botanic Gardens River Hub provides multi-purpose, river-based infrastructure to accommodate a range of vessels and uses including: access to tour boat operators as a pick-up and drop-off point for passengers , on-demand pick-up and drop-off for future water taxis , short-term use of non-motorised watercraft such as kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddleboards , short-term use for recreational vessels in the city reaches of the Brisbane River.
