If you’re starting a new business or trying to improve your existing business in Corangamite Shire, here’s an opportunity for some expert advice.
Corangamite Shire and the Small Business Mentoring Service (SBMS) are offering a series of free mentoring sessions to help local businesses grow their enterprise.
There are five virtual sessions available between 10 am and 3 pm on Thursday 22 April. Sessions run for 45 minutes across Zoom or over the phone.
Corangamite Shire Manager Growth and Engagement Rory Neeson said the sessions were an opportunity to gain knowledge and insight from experienced business mentors.
“Small business clinics provide one-on-one mentoring, and are delivered by highly experienced business people with skills and qualifications in a wide range of industries and disciplines,” Mr Neeson said.
He said meeting with an SBMS mentor could give business operators a new perspective on a problem or highlight an opportunity they had never noticed.
“It’s easy to get tunnel vision when you’re busy, or to fall into the habit of doing things the same way.
“Sometimes a fresh pair of eyes and another perspective can really make a difference,” Mr Neeson said.
Sessions are free, but bookings are required. To register, go to www.sbms.org.au/events and click on the Corangamite Shire logo.
