Isaac Regional Council is refreshing its current corporate plan to develop a strategy that will see the region through the next 18 months.
The 2017-2022 interim corporate plan shows Council’s ongoing commitment to securing vibrant communities, a strong economy, a healthy environment and effective, sustainable infrastructure.
Mayor Anne Baker said Council wanted to update its relevance and focus on re-adopting the current corporate plan.
“It will allow for stability to return to the organisation and community as Council moves into COVID-19 recovery phase,” Mayor Baker said.
“It will also allow for appropriate consultation for a new 2022-2027 Corporate Plan at a date to be set.
“Once this interim plan has been finalised, Council will plan a more rigorous engagement process to review the Corporate Plan and the 20-year Community Plan.
“Your thoughts are important to influencing this long-term vision of our region. Help shape the region we are proud to call home
“These plans share our visions and aspirations for the future and outlines how we will work towards a bright future.”
Business and community members have a chance to review the interim plan online until Friday 30 April 2021 at https://speakup.isaac.qld.gov.au and by clicking on the Interim Corporate Plan link.
