Kids can learn about the bugs, insects and koalas that live in their own backyards and the bushland of Campbelltown while creating and making at Kids On Q workshops these school holidays.
On Thursday 8 April Kids can join Council’s Bushcare team for a fun workshop to create their own bug hotels and take a look at what could be living in their backyards.
The Bushcare team have also teamed up with Campbelltown Arts Centre artist Jeff McCann to deliver a KOALARAMA workshop on Thursday 15 April and create some Koala inspired art.
“Our Kids on Q activities over the summer holidays were a massive hit so make sure to book in a place for your kids so they can have fun learning about our local wildlife while indulging their creative side with a bit of artwork,” Mayor George Brticevic said.
“The On Q project is all about bringing life to our city centre and making the city centre a vibrant place where activity is always happening and events like this are a great start,” Cr Brticevic said.
Bookings are essential.
Kids on Q is part of the On Q project which is testing and trialling different infrastructure and programs to enhance the Campbelltown CBD, particularly the Queen St precinct.
