WHY IS COUNCIL DOING AN INTERIM PLAN? • Council wants to update its relevance and focus on re-adopting the current corporate plan. • It will allow for stability to return to the organisation and community as Council moves into COVID-19 recovery phase. • It will also allow for appropriate consultation for a new 2022-2027 Corporate Plan at a date to be set.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE FINE TUNING? Once this bridging document has been finalised, Council will plan a more rigorous engagement process to review the Corporate Plan and the 20-year Community Plan. Your thoughts are important to influencing this long-term vision of our region. Help shape the region we are proud to call home.
