Council is offering a one-stop-shop for new and expanding businesses to navigate permits and other requirements they need to get started.

The Business Concierge service provides one contact person for business owners.

Marcela Whelan now has everything she needs to open her new pilates studio, Skuhlpt, in Beaumaris soon.

“We contacted Council and within two days the Business Liaison Officer had organised a zoom call with every department we needed to speak to for a permit,” Marcela said.

“Everything moved really quickly. We got simple explanations to everything we needed and assistance too with completing our permit application. We felt very supported throughout.”
