Locals are advised that road reconstruction works will be carried out on Kanandah Road at the entrance points to the city’s industrial area this month.
The Ryan Street entrance will be reconstructed first, followed by the Wentworth Road entrance.
The road will be reconstructed one lane at a time to ensure that local traffic can still access the area, and temporary traffic lights will be installed to control the flow of traffic.
All users are urged to drive carefully and follow all traffic instructions and signage.
Works will commence on April 12 and are expected to be completed in late May 2021, weather permitting.
The project has been supported by Council and the NSW Government through a REPAIR Grant of $376,000 and a Regional Roads Block Grant of $320,000.
