In-person and online customer service support increasing

Macedon Ranges Shire Council is pleased to announce the increase of our in-person customer service hours at all customer service centres. These increases are in line with and consider COVID-19 guidelines and easing of restrictions.

These hours will be trialled for a three-month period, and will take effect from Monday 12 April 2021.

Gisborne and Kyneton: 9am – 4pm, Monday - Friday Woodend and Romsey: 9am – 2pm, Monday to Friday

Seeking to provide additional support to the community, in the coming months Council will also be trialling a web-chat function via Council’s website, mrsc.vic.gov.au

Funded through a successful grant application to the Rural Councils ICT Infrastructure Support Program, website visitors will be able to use the web-chat feature to more easily find information relevant to them.

“Macedon Ranges Shire Council is committed to providing a consistent and high level of customer service for our community,” said Sarah Noel, Executive Manager People, Culture and Performance.

“The customer service team are dedicated, providing prompt, friendly and efficient customer service – both in-person at our customer service centres and online. We continually look for opportunities to improve our customer service including identifying new technologies to improve accessibility, efficiency and the overall customer experience.”
