An exciting opportunity exists for a fixed term, full time Project Admin Officer to join our team in the Galilee and Bowen Basin Operations department which is part of the Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate. The Project Admin Officer position provides general and clerical, administrative support as directed by the Coordinator Project Delivery to assist in fulfilling the requirements of the Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate as they work to deliver civil infrastructure projects within the region

ABOUT YOU •    A background in civil infrastructure with the ability to acquire knowledge of technical and civil processes would be an advantage. •    Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary work teams. •    Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills transferable to this position.  •    Understand the full implications of excellent customer service and commitment to its delivery. •    High level of experience and knowledge of Microsoft applications. Experience in the use of MapInfo would be highly regarded.  •    Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration (desirable) or demonstrated experience in a technical administration role.  •    Current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.

BENEFITS •    Salary $60,868.33 per annum + Locality Allowance. •    Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight. •    RDO’s in accordance with Council policy. •    5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading. •    12% super in accordance with Council policy.  •    This position's location is flexible, with an opportunity to work in Clermont, Dysart, Moranbah, or another approved centre within the Isaac Region.
