For the ongoing hydrant and valves replacement works, there will be some short test shutdowns occurring this Friday 16 April in Blackwater.
Type and length of interruption: During the test shut down the water supply will be turned off for up to 30 minutes. This may occur sometime between 7 am – 4 pm.
Affected streets: The streets that potentially could be affected are as follows: – Gidyea Street – Quandong Street – Ironbark Street – Mulga Street – Macdonald Crescent – Bendee Crescent – Oak Street – Littlefield Street – Wey Street – Blain Street – Myall Street
Some adjoining streets may also be briefly affected if isolations cannot be successfully completed.
Note: You may experience slight discolouration of the water, if you do, it is recommended that you run the water for a short period of time. If this persists, please contact Central Highlands Regional Council on 1300 242 686.
