An all-ages concert was held by Benalla Rural City Council’s FReeZA Crew, Reverb, on Wednesday 14 April 2021.
The event hosted a range of local live performing acts by local artists, including Jasmine Scholz, Inversion, Manic Subsidal and Splinter Kiss. All band members were aged 14-18 years.
More than 120 young people participated in the event.
Mayor Cr Danny Claridge said he was proud of the initiative shown by the organisers.
‘We are proud of how young people in our Rural City have come together to celebrate and reconnect after coronavirus restrictions,’ said Cr Claridge.
‘Congratulations to the young people who organised, managed and performed in this successful event.’
This drug and alcohol free event was supported and funded by the Victorian Government’s FReeZA program.
