Council is pleased to announce that the upper level of the Dangar Falls Viewing Platform project has been completed today, and accessible to public from this afternoon, in time for the ANZAC Day weekend.
Works remain ongoing at the site, with scaling works to rectify slips caused by the December 2020 flood event planned for next week. Once completed, Geotechnical Engineers will provide further advice as to the remedial works required.
Completion of the lower walkway, construction of lower platform and slip rectification works are anticipated to span approximately 6 - 8 weeks (weather permitting).
Council will continue to liaise with the community to provide further information as to the opening of the project in its entirety in due course.
