Blackall combined agents yarded 2681 at this week's prime and store sale.

The yarding was of mixed quality across all categories, but competition remained strong.

Heavy cattle to processors remained strong with all processors in attendance and operating. A mixed yarding of store cattle sold to a dearer trend with a solid gallery of buyers in the lanes.

The yarding this week was drawn from Julia Creek, Richmond, Adavale, Longreach, Tambo, Barcaldine, Jericho and Blackall.

Cows 300-400kg sold to 306c, average 255c, cows 400-500kg made 300c, average 276c, and cows over 500kg reached 331c, to average 286c.
