Draft Towards Zero Emissions Strategy

Mildura Rural City Council’s Draft Towards Zero Emissions Strategy has been released for public comment. We welcome your feedback.
The strategy defines our approach to achieving zero net carbon emissions by no later than 2050 in line with the current Victorian Government target.
It also an emissions inventory, which is based on priority areas. These include:
Fleet Landfill Buildings and facilities Street lighting Scope 3 emissions (water use, air travel and office paper)A long-term strategic direction for each priority area, and a five-year action plan, is also included.
