Council is pleased to announce that the first concrete has been poured for the Lake Cargelligo Walkway Stage 3 project. This project has been a long time in the making and it is pleasing to see that it is finally underway.
The final stage measures 806m in length and will link the Deadmans Point Reserve to the existing path network. This will enable residents and tourists alike to enjoy the scenic walk or cycle from Deadmans Point all the way to Rotary Park, enjoying the foreshore, Apex Park, Bicentennial Park, Liberty Park and Recreation Grounds along the way.
This project has been made possible through the combined funding assistance from the Local Road and Community Infrastructure Program (Federal Government) and the Active Transport Program (NSW Government).
