Have your say on the 2021/22 Draft Operational Plan

Lithgow City Council has endorsed its Draft 2021/22 Operational Plan and Schedule of Fees & Charges.  We invite all residents of the Lithgow LGA to get involved and have their say on the future direction of the area.

The Draft Operational Plan is a high-level plan that identifies the projects, community programs and services Council will be providing to the community in the 2021/22 financial year.

In challenging economic times, Council has actively sought grant-funding opportunities to increase our revenue and provide quality infrastructure and services for our community.

Council`s budget to fund the many programs and projects has been restrained but, there is a continuing focus on maintaining good service levels.

The Draft Operational Plan will be on exhibition until Tuesday, 25 May and we are excited to announce we will be holding a series of live community information sessions via Facebook to present our major infrastructure programs for 2021/22.

Finance (Revenue Policy) – Tuesday 4 May at 3pm Waste Management Program– Thursday 6 May at 3pm Transport Infrastructure Program – Tuesday 11 May at 9 am Water & Wastewater Infrastructure Program – Thursday 13 May at 2pm

 What if I am unable to attend or don’t have Facebook?

Unable to attend but have a question you would like to ask, put a comment in the event on Facebook or send us an email [email protected].  All sessions will be recorded and a link posted on our website www.council.lithgow.com  so you can watch later. 

 Where can I view a hard copy of the Operational Plan?

Copies of the Draft Operational Plan and Fees & Charges are available for viewing at the Council Administration Centre and Lithgow, Wallerawang & Portland Libraries. 

How do I make a submission?

The 2021/22 Draft Operational Plan and Schedule of Fees & Charges will be on exhibition from Tuesday 27 April to Midnight, Tuesday 25 May. Anyone wishing to make a submission may do so:
