Draft Voluntary Planning Agreement - Public Exhibition

ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING & ASSESSMENT ACT, 1979 Voluntary Planning Agreement between Carrathool Shire Council and ITP Development Pty Ltd for the Daisy Hill Solar Farm Notice is hereby given pursuant to s7.5(1) of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act, 1979 (NSW), that a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) between Carrathool Shire Council and ITP Development Pty Ltd and an accompanying Explanatory Note will be exhibited for a twenty-eight (28) day period from Tuesday 27 April, 2021, to 4.15pm Tuesday 25 May, 2021.

The proposed Planning Agreement will provide the Council with development contributions for public benefit projects. Specifically, the Planning Agreement provides for a monetary contribution from ITP Development Pty Ltd to be paid annually to the Council for the first ten years (including CPI) of the life of the project for the funding of public benefit facilities and services. The contributions will be used for public benefit purposes such as provision and maintenance of community infrastructure and services including recreational, sporting, streetscape and other community facilities and management of the local environment.

Draft Voluntary Planning Agreement & Explanatory Note The draft VPA and Explanatory Note will be available to be viewed at Council's Administration Offices at 9-11 Cobram Street, Goolgowi and 139-145 High Street, Hillston.  Written submissions are invited during the exhibition period of the draft VPA until the closure date. All submissions will be considered by Council in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979.
