Calling all local crime buffs – BAD Sydney Crime Writers Festival presents Candice Fox’s new novel “The Chase”, streamed online.
The Chase, partly researched from Lithgow Prison is gripping from the first to the last line. The chase is on when 653 men break out of Pronghorn Correctional Facility in the Navada Desert, including serial killers. Death row supervisor Celine Osbourne turns fugitive hunter. Her mission is to catch John Kradle who is trying to prove his innocence.
Candice Fox is one of Australia’s most acclaimed crime writers, with back to back Ned Kelly awards in 2014 and 2015 and her novel Crimson Lake is currently being adapted for television as Troppo.
