Established and emerging artists of all ages are invited to submit entries across seven categories for the 2021 Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC) Annual Art Awards – Emerald.
With more than $10,000 in this year’s prize pool, all artists from easel-based to digital art are encouraged to apply.
Each year, judges award the prestigious Central Highlands Regional Council Acquisitive Award of $4,000 to the most outstanding work from all categories.
Central Highlands Regional Council also awards homegrown talent with the Local Artist Award.
Loretta Horn, winner of Local Artist Award (Artwork) at our recent CHRC Art Awards – Springsure, encourages anyone with a flair for the creative to submit their artwork.
“Never be scared to put your work in and get your name out there,” Loretta said.
“Everything you do will make you a better artist,” she said.
Entries close Friday 16 July 2021 at 5.00 pm.

All artworks will remain on display at the Emerald Art Gallery until Wednesday 15 September 2021.
