Motorists are advised of upcoming disruption to traffic as Council recommences reconstruction work on the overpass.
The 10-week project will begin on May 17, and will see a complete reconstruction of the main concrete lane connecting Gypsum Street with South Road at the centre of the overpass.
During construction, access for traffic travelling from the city to the South will be unavailable via the Gypsum Street side of the overpass. Motorists are instead asked to use the Crystal Street/South Road route.
All traffic travelling from the South to the city will be unaffected.
Motorists are encouraged to obey all traffic directions and signage around the work site.
The reconstruction project has been funded by Council and Perilya.
