Future for road, pathway maintenance on display

Council’s vision for how it maintains our important road and pathway network is now on display for the public to view. 

The Draft Road Management Plan can be viewed until Thursday, 27 May, with the public encouraged to visit the Your Say Maroondah website to inspect and provide feedback. This important document, presented to Council at its Monday 26 April meeting, provides Council with guidelines on how to carry out maintenance works.

Maroondah Mayor, Councillor Kylie Spears, asked the community to consider the significance of this document and provide input into the future management of our road network.

“As we move forward into the next decade, we want to ensure our maintenance procedures meet public expectations, while ensuring they maintain high levels of safety and amenity for the community,” Cr Spears said.
