Band in the Park Returning to Entertain You

City of Darwin is once again hosting the Band in the Park free music events for everyone to enjoy in parks across the municipality, from May 2021.

Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis said this is the third year Band in the Park has taken place and provides a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together in City of Darwin parks to enjoy the dry season, whilst listening to tunes from the Band of the 1st Brigade.

“The Band in the Park series is always very popular and I expect this year to be no different.

“We are kicking off the series with three events confirmed for May and we will be adding more events to the calendar as they are finalised. There could be some exciting locations on the horizon, so watch this space.

“It is a great way to get out locally and connect with friends, family and neighbours, relax and enjoy some great live music.”

Join us in the parks:

People are asked to bring their own food and beverage, chairs and picnic blankets and to dispose of any rubbish thoughtfully.
