SERVICE NSW - DINE & DISCOVER VOUCHERS AND REGIONAL SENIORS TRAVEL CARD HELPResidents are advised that representatives from Cowra Service NSW (SNSW) will be attending Grenfell on Friday 14 May 2021 from 10:00am to assist with Dine & Discover NSW vouchers as well as regional seniors travel cards.
This will afford residents the opportunity to apply for Dine & Discover NSW vouchers and/or regional seniors travel cards online with the assistance of dedicated SNSW staff.
SMALL BUSINESS REBATE SCHEMESmall businesses are encouraged to sign up for a new $1,500 rebate scheme to help cover the cost of NSW and local government fees and charges.
The Small Business Fees and Charges Rebate is open to small businesses which have a total wages bill below the new 2020/2021 $1.2 million payroll tax threshold and have a turnover of at least $75,000 per year.
Fees and charges that can be claimed back through the scheme include liquor licences, food authority licences, council rates and outdoor seating fees. The launch of the rebate scheme coincides with a number of licence waivers coming to an end.
The rebate is available from 1 April 2021 until 30 June 2022 for eligible fees and charges due and paid from 1 March 2021.

ESSENTIAL ENERGY COMMUNITY CHOICES PROGRAM 2021Residents are advised that nominations for Essential Energy’s Community Choices program for 2021 are now open.
A total of $175,000 will be shared amongst eligible charities, registered not-for-profit groups and community groups across 20 zones in the Essential Energy network area, with funding of up to $2,500 per group. The amount of money received by each group is determined by how many community votes they receive via the online voting platform.

During these works residents can expect heavy machinery to be active and as such traffic control will be in place; travellers should allow for short delays and possible detours. Some noise and dust disturbance is expected due to the use of various plant and equipment onsite, however any impact to residents will be minimised where possible.
